Ollie Swaddle — Super easy to wrap and stays tight. None of that Houdini baby escape nonsense.
KicKee Pants Zipper Onesies — Nothing softer exists. Period. The zipper is life at 3am. No snaps, no buttons, just zip and done.
DockATot — An absolute must for newborns. Gives them that cozy, contained feeling they crave after 9 months of being snuggled up. Perfect for supervised lounging and tummy time.
SNOO Smart Bassinet — If you can afford it AND plan to have more than one baby, buy it — don't rent it. The resale value holds up too. It's like having an extra pair of hands at 2am.

Aquaphor Baby — Spread this stuff EVERYWHERE. Bum after every diaper change. Face for dry skin. Under eyes if irritated. Body for any dryness. It's the Swiss Army knife of baby care. Buy the big tub.
Boudreaux's Butt Paste — Keep this for actual diaper rash only (not everyday use). It's the best 24-hour rash fix and the most natural of the intense diaper rash creams. Maximum strength works fast.
Keekaroo Peanut Changer — The coolest changing pad. Wipes clean in seconds. No covers to wash. Worth every penny.
🛁 Bathing
Skip Hop Bath Accessories — Great tub and accessories. The whale spout cover is a must.

Bamboo Washcloths — A must for all baby cleanups — bath time and beyond. So much softer than regular cotton. Buy a pack of 10+.
Pottery Barn Kids Hooded Bath Towels — Terry cloth inside, soft fuzzy outside. They do free engraving so add baby's initial. Have at least 2 on hand. The animal ones are adorable.
🏥 First Aid & Wellness
Frida Baby — All Products — Just buy the entire Frida Baby line. NoseFrida, MediFrida, the grooming kit — everything they make is thoughtfully designed and actually works.
Rectal Thermometer — For true accuracy when it matters. Digital, fast-read. Keep one in the nursery and one in the diaper bag.
Baby Probiotics — A game-changer for gas in the first 2 months. Takes about 8-10 days to really kick in but the difference is noticeable. Choose the highest quality you can find — we used Natren Bifido Factor.
Nasal Saline Spray — For baby's first cold 😢. They hate it. It works. Pair with the NoseFrida for maximum effectiveness.
Bulb Syringe — Always have one on hand. Essential for mucus removal when baby's congested. The hospital usually gives you one — keep it.
Infant Pulse Oximeter (O2 Finger Monitor) — Peace of mind for anxious parents. Monitors blood oxygen levels. Worth having in the first-aid kit.
Babyganics Foaming Hand Sanitizer — Plant-based, gentle, and you'll use it 50 times a day. Keep one by the changing table and one by the door.

Sophie la Girafe Teether — The iconic French teether. Keep 3 on hand for backup — they WILL get lost in couch cushions and car seats. Every baby loves Sophie.
BIBS Pacifiers (0-6 months) — The absolute best pacis for little ones. If your baby isn't taking to other pacifiers, try these — total game changer. The natural rubber round shape mimics the breast. Register for 6-8.
Arlo Baby Monitor — Great camera with air quality sensor and night light built in. Eventually you'll upgrade to a full Nest/Ring system when you move into a house.
Portable Baby Monitor — A must for travel or staying at grandparents' house. We used Willcare — affordable and reliable. Tons of good options on Amazon.
BabyBjörn Bouncer — The baby swing/rocker to end all debates. Add the toy attachment. Baby will live in this thing while you cook, work, or just sit and stare at the wall (no judgment).
Hatch Rest Sound Machine — Control through the app. Great design. Program sleep schedules. The toddler "ok to wake" color feature is genius for later.
Hush Portable Sound Machine — Small, powerful, easy to charge. Always keep a backup because you'll take these everywhere — stroller, car, grandma's house.
Ubbi Diaper Pail — The best because you can use ANY trash bag — no proprietary refills. Sleek design. Actually contains the smell. Steel construction.
Nuby Teething Products — Anything with wood or silicone textures. Affordable and baby will chew on these for months.
Jellycat Stuffed Animals — The softest stuffed animals on the planet. They become the "comfort item" your child sleeps with every night. We have 4 safari ones and they are everything.
Amazon Muslin Burp Cloths (White) — Buy a giant pack. They're everywhere. Shoulders, changing table, stroller, car. You can never have enough.
🚫 Things You Do NOT Need to Register For
Breastfeeding Pillows — Just use nice decorative throw pillows. Boppy and My Brest Friend are bulky and you won't carry them around. Save the money and the space.
Baby Clothes (beyond basics) — People will buy you clothes whether you register for them or not. And they probably won't be your style. Just get the KicKee Pants onesies and Loulou sets above. Baby lives in swaddles and onesies for the first 2 months anyway.
💡 Pro Tip — Books!
Instead of cards at your baby shower, have everyone bring their favorite children's book. You'll build an amazing library without buying a single one, and each book comes with a personal note inside. Way better than a Hallmark card.
